Dear Charlotte,

You amaze me each and every day with your zest and passion for life. I love watching you grow and am amazed and how well you are doing with your cast. I'm so sorry I put in you a situation, which seemed harmless, that caused you so much pain. Years from now I know you won't even remember this even though I can't stop thinking about how I wish I didn't go to the playground or didn't take you down the slide with me. You are an amazingly strong toddler and I love you very much.
